7 ways to check if the filter bag is intact

2024-08-20

The integrity of the filter bag is a critical component related to the dust removal efficiency of the dust collector. So how to check if the filter bag is damaged after using it for a period of time? Perhaps the following 7 methods can help you.

1. Use fluorescent powder to detect leaks. Add an appropriate amount of fluorescent powder to the dust collector inlet, then open the box cover for naked eye observation. This method is simple and easy to operate. Only an appropriate amount of fluorescent powder is required;

2. If it is a dust collector with a blowpipe, then there will be dust accumulation on the blowpipe corresponding to the damaged dust collector. This is also easier to judge. The air box pulse dust collector is not easy to find. First, see which room has dust, and then look around the dust accumulation. The damaged one There will be dust attached to the bag cage inside the dust collector bag;

3. Open the box cover to check the dust collector bag. If there is a lot of dust at the bag mouth and the door, then the filter bag with more dust in this room must be leaking;

4. Is there a slight positive pressure phenomenon in the sealed bin or sealed space connected to the lower part of the dust collector hopper? If so, you can open the upper cover of the dust collector blowing chamber and observe the filter bag hole. Observe carefully to see if any filter bag(pressed by slight positive pressure) is leaking. If the dust is forced out by the dust collector, it means that the filter bag is damaged;

5. First, close the lifting valves of the clean air chamber of the bag dust collector one by one. At this time, carefully observe the changes in the emission concentration at the chimney outlet. If the emission concentration at the outlet decreases or disappears, it means that the dust filter bag in the chamber of the dust collector is damaged. Close the lifting valve of this chamber and find the damaged dust filter bag;

6. If there is no micro-positive pressure working environment, you can directly Open the upper cover of the spray chamber, then start the fan and observe carefully whether there is dust sucked out from the bag hole. If there is, it means that the filter bag is damaged;

7. Check whether there is dust on the flower plate and near the lifting valve hole through the inspection door of the dust collector chamber. Use a flashlight to shine from the bag cage of the dust collector. If there is dust at the bottom of the bag cage, then the bag is most likely a damaged dust bag. Mark it here first, and then repair or replace it one by one after all the dust bags are checked.

Replace the damaged filter bag according to the situation. If there are no extra dust collector bags for the time being, you can temporarily close the upper opening of the flower plate hole or tie the bag cage to the lower opening of the bag. After the damaged bag is processed, replace the new dust filter bag. At the same time, find out the cause of the filter bag damage and keep a record. In the later work, correct the cause of the damage and solve it to prevent more dust collector bags from being damaged.
