The method to solve the damaged filter cloth of belt filter press is as follows:
1. **Locate the damaged area:** First locate the upper web deflection roller and the lower web tensioning roller, and then start the belt filter press to run to the damaged area.
2. **Repair damaged filter cloth:** Determine the size of the repair based on the degree of damaged filter cloth. Use a paper cutter to cut off the damaged area and trim the rough edges with scissors. Select an old filter that is the same length as the patched area and slightly wider than the old filter.
3. **Splicing the filter:** Cut the mesh in the interface of the filter to be spliced, and use a vise to pull out the mesh. Arrange the upper mesh teeth of the two filters neatly, pass the steel wire through the mesh teeth, then use the filter wire to follow the steel wire through the mesh teeth, knot both ends, and stuff the longer part into other meshes.
4. **Adjustment and correction:** Since the filter cloth correction device of the filter press adopts pneumatic control, the operation can be realized by adjusting the instrument. By tracking the position of the sensor, it is determined whether the filter cloth is deviated, and then the deviation correction process is realized.
5. **Operation test:** After repairing the filter cloth, let the machine run for 20 minutes. The cleaning pump and sludge conveying device should continue to operate until the residual sludge can be completely separated from the sludge pressure. Strain and clean the filter cloth.
6. **Confirm separation:** After confirming that the sludge cake is completely separated from the sludge filter press, clean the filter cloth and drum. Shut down the sludge filter press, scrubber pump and sludge cake delivery device.
7. **Loosen the tension of the filter cloth:** After shutdown, if the sludge filter press is not operated for a long time, loosen the tension of the filter cloth. (Don’t forget to adjust the filter cloth tension before restarting.)
This repair method is suitable for sludge dehydration treatment in urban domestic sewage, textile printing and dyeing, electroplating, papermaking, leather, brewing, food processing, coal washing, petrochemical, chemical, metallurgy, pharmaceutical, ceramics and other industries, and is also suitable for solid industrial production separation or liquid leaching process.
