How can we use the vacuum filter cloth correctly?

In a vacuum filter, the main function of the filter cloth is to achieve solid-liquid separation. If it is found that the solid and liquid cannot be effectively separated, it means that there may be a problem with the filter cloth of the vacuum filter and needs to be dealt with in time.

1. **Properly install the filter cloth:** When placing the filter cloth on the vacuum filter, make sure it is properly placed, neither too tight nor too loose. If it is too tight, it will easily damage the filter cloth during work, while if it is too loose, it may cause dust to accumulate on the filter cloth, affecting the normal progress of solid-liquid separation.

2. **Store filter cloths in categories:** Unused filter cloths and used filter cloths should be stored separately, and pay attention to the service life of the filter cloths. Mixing up old and new filter cloths that are difficult to distinguish may cause problems during use and affect the normal operation of the vacuum filter.

3. **Regular inspection and replacement of filter cloth:** The replaced filter cloth should be inspected regularly to see if there are any loopholes. If there are loopholes, they should be repaired in time. If there is dust adhering to the filter cloth, it should be cleaned in time. Failure to inspect may result in the filter cloth being completely damaged and irreparable during next use.

4. **Handle the moisture content of the filter cake carefully:** Excessive pursuit of the moisture content of the filter cake will shorten the life of the filter cloth. Be careful when unloading the cake to ensure that the cake unloading tool is parallel to the filter cloth to avoid damage to the filter cloth. At the same time, do not let the filter cake stay on the filter cloth for too long when unloading the cake to prevent the gravity of the filter cake from deforming the filter cloth.

5. **Install the filter cloth correctly:** When installing the filter cloth of the vacuum filter, make sure the filter cloth is flat and avoid wrinkles, which may damage the filter cloth during the filtration process. Negligence and mistakes during machine operation may result in damage to the filter cloth, misalignment and wrinkles. This may be caused by incorrect centering of the filter cloth.

6. **Check the reasons for misalignment and wrinkles of the filter cloth:** Insufficient tension may cause wrinkles, and additional tensioning of the filter cloth is required. Improper joints at the filter cloth connections may also cause wrinkling. Always pay attention to whether there are solid deposits on the rollers and sliding adjustment blocks, which may cause misalignment and wrinkling of the filter cloth. Check whether the take-up wheel or other rollers are misaligned and correct these problems to ensure normal operation of the filter cloth.

7. **Pay attention to the stability period of filter cloth adjustment:** When making any adjustments, the filter cloth should be kept in the center of the filter for at least half an hour of stability. Because wet filter cloth shrinks easily, it may cause the filter cloth to become narrower or larger than the intended size. Make sure the filter cloth has allowed sufficient time to stabilize before making major adjustments.
