Leaching is crucial and advised for all anode bags. Today's electroplating solutions are highly precise and prone to disturbances. Although our fabrics are supposed to be free from any sizing, they undergo extensive handling and are threaded through well-oiled sewing machines for thousands of feet. Therefore, it's strongly recommended to leach all anode bags before installation. The leaching process varies depending on the material and the electroplating solution they will be used with. Always use a leaching solution that won't harm the bag material and is compatible with the plating solution.
