Where to install a pulse valve solenoid in a pulse jet baghouse?

In a pulse jet baghouse system, the pulse valve is really important for getting the dust collected efficiently. It fires with force and speed. The system uses compressed air, which is released through a solenoid valve connected to the pulse valve, allowing air to be rapidly expelled into the blow pipe. This quick release of air means the system can clean the filters effectively.

The link between the solenoid and pulse valve is really important for how well the system works. If you place the solenoid right on the pulse valve, which is called an integral solenoid, it lets you depressurise straight away and respond faster. This proximity means the pulse is more efficient, which helps the cleaning process.

However, if the solenoid is located further away in a control box or connected through tubing, the system's efficiency can be affected. The longer the distance, the slower the release of pressurised air, which means the pulse is weaker. This can reduce the system's effectiveness, as the air pulse builds up gradually and dissipates, rather than firing quickly and forcefully.
