Polyester filter cloth is an industrial filtration material made of polyester fibre (polyester), which shows significant advantages in physical, chemical and filtration performance by virtue of its unique molecular structure of close order. The material is vertically connected to double-layer polyester monofilaments by three-dimensional woven technology, combined with heat-setting process (≥150℃) to enhance the structural stability, and part of the product is further optimised for peel strength by surface brushing treatment, so as to maintain high tear and tensile strength under high pressure and high friction conditions (longitudinal tensile strength of 800-1200 N/cm²), and at the same time, it is resistant to normal working temperatures of 120-150℃ and short-term filtration performance. 150°C regular working temperature and 170°C peak for short periods. In terms of chemical properties, polyester filter cloths are resistant to weak acids/alkalis with a pH of 3-8, and can resist the erosion of antioxidants, bleach and some organic solvents, making them suitable for use in corrosive environments such as the chemical industry and pharmaceuticals. Its filtration performance is particularly outstanding, with a particle retention accuracy of 1 micron achieved through precision weaving technology, combined with a smooth surface design that improves the cake stripping rate by 20%-30%, combined with low moisture absorption (moisture regain <0.4%) and easy cleaning characteristics, significantly reducing the risk of clogging and shortening downtime. The material is widely used in chemical industry corrosive media filtration, metallurgical industry high temperature slurry dewatering, environmental protection sewage sludge treatment, as well as food-grade liquids (such as juice, edible oil) fine filtration scenarios, covering more than 90% of the industrial filtration needs, and become the core filtration element of filter presses and other equipment.
