The choice of filter bags should be based on the properties of the dust, such as viscosity, humidity, acidity, particle size distribution, flame retardancy, etc. Alternatively, the selection can be based on the properties of the flue gas, such as temperature and humidity, acidity, oxygen content, dust concentration, and also based on cleaning factors, such as cleaning method, cleaning pressure, and cleaning interval. Today, we will discuss how to choose filter bags according to the cleaning method.
1. Pulse blowback cleaning method: The kinetic energy applied to dust by this filter bag cleaning method is between high energy and low kinetic energy types, requiring the dust collector bag to be soft and also requiring a certain amount of rigidity. When using fabric dust collector bags, satin and twill fabrics are preferred, but from the perspective of dust removal efficiency, filtration speed, and wear resistance to the skeleton, it is appropriate to use needle felt, and select needle felt weighing 300-600g/m2. Woven fabrics are rarely used. If it is really necessary, multiple surface processing operations should be performed;
2. Pulse jet cleaning method: This filter bag cleaning method applies the highest kinetic energy to the dust layer, and is a typical method of external filtration cleaning. The fine dust force is very strong, and the residual amount of dust attached to the yarn of the dust collector bag is relatively small. The dust collector bags used are basically felt or needle felt. Under the action of pulse jet, the dust collector bag instantly deforms greatly, causing greater stress, so filter materials with strong tensile strength are used. The dust collector bag often rubs against the skeleton, so wear-resistant dust collector bags should be used, and fabric dust collector bags can also be used.
3.Vibration cleaning method: The basic feature of this filter bag cleaning method is that the kinetic energy applied to the dust layer is smaller than that of pulse jet and back-blowing types. It is a low-energy cleaning method, so fabric dust collector bags should be used. The vibration wave transmission of soft fabric is better;
4. Air ring spray cleaning method: Since the cleaning ability of this dust collector bag is very good, the dust collector bag is required to have very good rigidity, fine porosity, and good wear resistance, so that the dust collector bag will not change or fluff when moving up and down in the spray air ring. Therefore, it is required to use felt or needle felt. And thick and high-density felt is required. The basic weight of the cloth should be 600-800g/m2.
5. Back-blowing-vibration cleaning method: The kinetic energy applied to the dust layer by this dust collector bag cleaning method is low-energy. In the early stage, fabric dust collector bags were the most common. At present, most of them use needle felt. The main reason is to better speed up the filtration speed. Needle felt requires a cloth weight of 280-350g/m2, a thickness of 1.0-1.3 mm, and good air permeability. In the sewing and installation of dust collector bags, we usually tighten the dust collector bags and avoid stretching in the filtration specifications. When the dust collector bags are stretched to about 2%, the effect of the cleaning method will be aggravated.
6. Back-blowing (back-suction bag shrinking) cleaning method: This dust collector bag cleaning method basically uses fabric dust collector bags, and can also use felt materials with lighter weight, rich softness, and smaller specifications. Among them, glass fiber dust collector bags are mostly used, and they are most commonly used in large and medium-sized bag dust collectors. There are quantitative requirements for the hoisting and sewing of dust collector bags. If they are not taken seriously, it will have a relatively large adverse effect on the service life of the dust collector bags. Therefore, in the finalization and processing of dust collector bags, we generally fully consider the technical conditions to avoid the elongation of dust collector bags.
The above are 6 points to pay attention to when choosing filter bags based on the cleaning method. However, when choosing filter bags, you should not only consider the cleaning method, but also the nature of the dust, the nature of the flue gas, and the dust removal system. Only then can you choose a suitable filter bag.
